The Velocette Venom was the high performance single in the 1957 model range.

The Venom was a square 86 x 86 mm single with lots of valve overlap and an ability to rev much more freely than most British singles. So much so that the Velocette factory had to issue an advice notice to purchasers that it was necessary to rev the engine to enjoy the best performance. Coupled to a slick 4 speed gearbox and a very light clutch, these bikes are a joy to ride

This example was restored about 10 years ago and still has many original fasteners. It runs well and is a credit to the Velocette club member who restored it.
