Brian Jolly first saw the car while mowing his mum’s lawns. His next door neighbour Cecil pulled into the drive with the new car. Brian was blown away by the first V8 holden he had seen.

He mentioned to Cecil if you ever want to sell it, id love to buy it.

During the 1970’s the car had the HK premier colour hacienda blue added to the lower half at some point but otherwise left as original.

Fast forward to 2005 and Brian received a phone call from Cecil, he advised he was no longer going to drive and if Brian wanted to buy the car, be there in the morning. There is to be no test drives, that can be done on your way home after full payment was made!

Brian drove the car for about a year until 2006 when restoration on the car commenced in May.

The car was painted in Jan 2009 and the assembly was completed later that year.

The car has been featured in a couple of calender’s and there has been some news paper write ups.

Of the many clients we have had over the years there are none that have cared or had a connection as Brian did with his much loved HK named “baby”.
