We’ve had the privilege of offering some exceptional examples of the iconic GTR Torana and this one is right up there in quality and authenticity.
A matching 3 tag 1970 Kashmir White LC GTR Torana with rare houndstooth interior and period 2600s engine.
Running an Aussie 4 Speed Manual (not OPEL box).
This GTR was Melbourne built and completed on 19.1.70. Paint code 11401 and interior code is 40Y. It was sold by Wyres Bros PL, 6002 Sturt St, Ballarat Vic during Sept 1970. Its lived its entire life in Victoria in the Ballarat region.
Last registered in 1988 and registered today with the original plate numbers KOW005 (Vic). These are available with the car to Victorian buyers (please note the vehicle is sold unregistered)
In 2017 it started its restoration. Its full rotisserie nut and bolt restoration, reassembly and completed by Worthy GTR Restorations in early 2021.
This GTR has had every nut and bolt re-zinced where required. The grill and tail light surrounds were polished, bumpers re-chromed and all new parts used where possible. Some parts have been refurbished where required (big nut master cylinder dash, under dash etc) and nearly all parts on the car are original to the car.
Over 1200 hours have gone into the restoration on body, panel, paint, interior and reassembly.
Now it’s a hard to fault, hard to find LC GTR and is one of our top entries in another quality filled catalogue.
