Burns & Co Auctions has established itself as a national brand and market leader in the delivery of Auction services over a very short period of time, focusing on classic and collectable motor cars and motorcycles, memorabilia, collectables, estates, museum dispersals etc.
The period 2019-2024 has seen Burns & Co establish itself in Bayswater, Melbourne with regular inhouse auctions whilst also offering on site auctions across the country. Burns & Co went through a major expansion in July last year and have opened a new, next level vehicle auction facility in Bayswater, Vic. Further expansion around the same time saw Burns & Co Auctions opening premises in Newcastle, N.S.W which is servicing the market North of Sydney.
Burns & Co auctions offer a combination of online, phone and floor bidding options for purchasers. Burns & Co has around 110,000 followers on Facebook and around 15,000 registered bidders participating in 75 plus auctions per annum.
With expansion comes opportunity and the business is now looking to employ a full time TRUST MANAGER within our team, which is a newly created role.
The position will involve the successful applicant managing the back end of each auction, including invoicing, reconciling purchaser payments, following up on overdue payments, balancing our trust account and settling vendor consignments and third-party contractors. Burns & Co are on track to exceed $30mill in vendor disbursements this calendar year.
Another key aspect to the role will be approving new bidder registrations within our auction bidding platform, before and during auctions (training will be provided).
Some weekend work is required, usually one Saturday or Sunday every 5-6 weeks along with the odd trip to conduct on site auctions which may include some interstate and country travel.
