It was great to have so many online, phone and absentee bidders as well as a very well populated bidding floor giving the bidding some great momentum at our Melbourne facility making for an amazing day. It was a day filled with opportunity with some very nice cars and motorcycles going under the hammer.

There were lots of bids placed across the day, especially when it came to lot 62 with the classic 1976 Holden HX Windowless Panel Van V8 collecting 123 total bids. It fetched $103,306 with one floor bidder walking away as the lucky new owner. Another popular lot with bidders was lot 50, the 1923 Indian Big Chief 1200cc. At the fall of the hammer, the bike made an impressive $56,250.

The highest selling lot for the day was lot 63, a pristine, cream coloured 1956 Holden FJ Windowless Panel Van which sold for $115,395. Coming in second was the 1976 Holden HX Windowless Panel Van V8 mentioned earlier and then the third highest selling lot was a True Blue coloured 1971 Ford Falcon XY GT Tribute 427 V8 Manual that after a lot of bids and sold for $99,734.
