One of Australia’s most desirable and iconic enamel signs is soon to be offered by Burns & Co.

Huddart, Parker & Co was founded on August 1st 1876 in Geelong.

During the 1890’s its steamers were running to the principal parts of New South Wales, Victoria and South Australia along with Western Australia and Tasmania. In 1983 it was also trading with ports in New Zealand.

This Particular sign featuring the steamer “Burrumbeet” which was built in 1885 provides providence that dates this sign late 1880’s – 1890’s and is in what we consider, absolute best condition for age with no sign of any touch ups or repairs.
