1927 Indian Police Special Scout fitted with a Crocker conversion. The conversion consists of the engine being fitted with an overhead valve (OHV) cylinder head. This conversion, popular in the days gone by aimed to enhance the performance of the Indian Scout by providing it with a more powerful OHV configuration. This setup was similar to Crocker’s own high-performance engines. There are only believed to be a handful of these motorcycles in running condition around the world. Having undergone a extensive 5 year restoration it presents very well and is in running condition. The engine has had new pistons installed and the magneto has also been rebuild.
