This conversion, popular in the 1930s, aimed to enhance the performance of the Indian Scout by providing it with a more powerful OHV configuration, similar to Crocker’s own high-performance engines. There are only believed to be a handful of these motorcycles in running condition around the globe.

This 1930 Indian 101 Scout 750cc Crocker OHV conversion, is fully restored and wonderfully presented motorcycle, and in running condition (see video). This Indian motorcycle has, been restored over a 5 year period. It was running with a modern Carby, but the correct carburetor has now been installed.
