British Military Norton Side Car Outfit. Original Side Car Mechanism (commonly called Dog & Clutch). Driven side car wheel.
Approx. 300 Outfits were produced in 1939 for the far east campaigns. Only about 30-33 came to Australia. 2 bikes were subsequently purchased by Riley Motors in Hamilton. Both sold to farmers in the Western District Victoria.
Bike was regularly seen in Anzac Day parades or as part of VMVC events. Also appeared in the Sullivans TV show. Great chance to purchase an iconic piece of Australian history.
