This 1951 FX HOLDEN utility was assembled at the Fisherman’s Bend plant in Melbourne and is a very early build number being 456. Built in January 1951, putting this ute as one of the very first built by Holden.
It has the original running gear (appears to be 6v battery) and paint colour.
Originally used as a work item in and around Melbourne, it was on the road up to the mid 1970’s. It found its way to the back of a factory and there it sat until around 2010. The second owner began the restoration and in early 2017 it was sold to the 3rd owner who completed the process.
Now it’s an award winning Aussie icon and is an absolutely eye catching car.
