1953 Norton Dominator model 88. A great complete and running example. Fitted with the 500cc engine and finished in the stunning colour of Light Blue contrasted with chrome. First of the famous Featherbed frames with Roadholder front forks. Very little use since full restoration by the late Ian Brown including engine and gearbox by the late Phil Roebuck. The magneto has been restored by Peter Scott while the wheels have been rebuilt with Akront alloy rims and stainless steel spokes with chrome nipples. All paintwork is quality Glasurit 2-pack. Needless to say this is a multiple trophy wining motorcycle including Griffith King of the Rally, Best British at 75th Australian GP Rally, also twice best Pre-Commando Twin, and Best Post-War Norton at Norton Owners Club Concours, in fact it has won a prize at every rally it has attended!
