Originally purchased by a farmer’s son from Scottsdale Tasmania, then on sold through Dutchy Proyens used cars Elizabeth St Launceston Tasmania in May 1961 to a Ms. G Pilkington. She traded the Sprite in in 1963 and it was purchased by Mr. Izand briefly before being sold to Mrs. S Buchanan in 1964. The Sprite was then sold to Peter Bennett on 9/4/1973 for $750. It remained with Peter until his death in 1997 when it was bequeathed to his brother whos care it has been in until his recent passing. It has undergone a 15 year nut and bolt, no expense spared restoration and would give any competitor a run for its money.
Going by the documentation provided, this is a matching numbers car.
Beautifully presented and in showroom condition this Sprite is ready for its next chapter.
Excellent colour scheme of old English white and red interior.
Mechanically fully rebuilt with receipts for every cent spent. Huge folder of history and receipts come with the vehicle.
Inspections will not disappoint and we are unlikely to see another one through the doors matching the caliber of this one.
