This Roebuck Pearl Sedan with original registration JAK353 was bought from Peter Robinson Motors, GMH Dealership, Lillydale, Vic on the 11th July 1964 for 1471 pounds, 14 shillings and 6 pence by Norm and Florrie Deas of South Melbourne.

Florrie was a cousin of Flo and Ern Hillyard of Seville. At the time of the EH purchase, Ern was working at Peter Robinson Motors. Ern helped them with the purchase, the reason why Norm and Florrie travelled from South Melbourne to Lillydale for their brand new car.

Norm and Florrie drove this car from 1964 until Norm died in 1974. After that, Florrie stored the car because she did not drive. Florrie Deas died in 2004.

Between 1964 and 1974 this car was mainly driven on Sundays, and only if it wasn’t raining. It’s longest journey would have been a trip from South Melbourne to Seville and back to visit the Hillyard’s and to attend the wedding of Pam and Kieth (current owners of the car) in 1969. Confetti is still in the glove box.

Norm and Florrie didn’t have children so after Florrie died the car was given to Pam and Kieth Lambden. Pam being the grand daughter of Flo and Ern Hillyard. As Pam and Kieth both worked at Peter Robinson Motors also, they had an interest in Holden Cars.

This amazing car has been stored under cover since the Lambden’s inherited it.

Original documents of sale and service books accompany car along with original keys.

Car was originally ordered with white pearl roof and changed at dealership before delivery to all Roebuck Pearl, which was not an uncommon practice.

A very very good example of the iconic EH Premier and is one of the best examples we’ve had the privilege to offer.

Car has had a respray given once Norm passed Florrie stored the car in a shed covered in quilts and blankets which over a 30 year period created surface rust.

A fantastic investment opportunity right here.

Car has recently been on Victorian Club Registration and is being sold unregistered.
