1968 HK Monaro 327 V8 GTS! This is a genuine ‘81837’ Type 1 Monaro. Beautifully presented inside and out and has undergone a no expense spared restoration resulting in one of the best examples out there. The vendor information provided advises that under the hood sits the Tonawanda built Chevrolet 327 V8 casting number 3941660, with a date of 12 March 1968 presented in factory 250hp specification. Paired to a Saginaw close-ratio 4-speed manual gearbox, and 10-bolt Posi-traction Salisbury limited-slip differential. The complete driveline was rebuilt at the time of restoration. The exterior is finished in the factory bright blue metallic which is arguably the best colour available, while the interior has been retrimmed in the original black 10X code. This is an all round excellent example and one that is perfectly suited to a museum or private collector. Inspections will not disappoint.
