All 4 TAC Plates are original to this vehicle, never been taken off, the TAC sign plaques are Army but acquired by the previous owner. The Cross saws are green and Gold, is what signage most army vehicles displayed . The Gold Royal Crest represents Army HeadQuarters unit.
The markings above wheel represent tyre pressures and the marking above dashboard on drivers side represent army speed limit that Army Vehicles must not exceed. Reminding the driver of the speed limit.
The Land Rover is an all matching numbers vehicle that still has its original petrol engine.
In 1990 the Land Rover was sold at Army Disposal Auction at Bandiana on 5/3/1990 and was purchased by a station at Wentworth in NSW. Where it was used as a tourist vehicle for farm stays. After use around the farm it was put in a shed. Until 2021 when the current owner purchased the ex army Land Rover, The current owner performed maintenance to the vehicle to bring it up to roadworthy standards for NSW club Registration. Where it has been driven around town to club events. For the last 8 months it was exhibited in a museum.
