This vehicle was imported by Ford as a CKD kit from their Canadian factory in 1968 and believed to have been assembled by Hasting Deering at Lidcombe NSW.
It was assembled as a RHD Australian compliance model. A full nut and bolt body off restoration was completed by the vendor after his purchasing of the vehicle in 2013. The interior has been fully retrimmed to a very high standard. During restoration a 351W V8 Engine and Rebuilt C4 Gearbox were installed, and many new parts fitted. The 351 Windsor is fitted with Alloy heads, roller rockers, mild cam and headers, 650 Holley Carburettor while the C4 transmission has been rebuilt with shift kit and 2000RPM stall speed converter. The diff if is a Ford 9inch TrueTrac, while the front end is a L300 with King Coil springs, new Ford AU Falcon ventilated rotors and callipers, drilled to F100 stud pattern. Power Steering (New Pump) using late model AU Falcon rack, New Tilt adjustable steering column with indicator and emergency flasher controls, American alloy Jelly Bean style wheels with near new tyres. The Tray has Cadillac tail lights and Australian Red Gum timber bed, new alloy fuel drop tank with filler under trapdoor panel in tray bed, new air conditioner with heater and demister, new Dolphin Instruments and Shark Gauges.
