LC Torana GTR XU1. This example rolled of the Adelaide production line in September 1970. This genuine LC Torana GTR XU1 has been in the vendor’s possession for the past 17 years and presents in immaculate condition following an older restoration.
Finished in the highly desirable Rally Red with X40 Black trim, the car retains all of its original identification tags. The body and paintwork present exceptionally well. The car is fitted with a full XU1-specification 3100X engine, including the correct cylinder head and triple carburetor setup. The vendor advises that the engine is believed to be the original unit, with the date codes aligning with the vehicle’s build period. The gearbox a M21 four-speed has recently undergone a full rebuild and is backed by a 3.36:1 LSD differential. The original interior remains in very good condition and presents beautifully, complementing the overall originality and character of the car. A recent comprehensive mechanical overhaul has been carried out from front to back. This is a genuine turn-key LC GTR XU1, ready to enjoy.
