Super Rhino! You could be forgiven for thinking this is a XY GT Falcon tribute, but in actual fact it’s a Fairmont GT which was a South African delivered model.
This one is believed to be a genuine Fairmont GT per the I.D plate affixed to the radiator support, it has the correct Y engine code for a 351 V8 and corresponding B transmission code for automatic. Since it was imported into Australia it has been issued a new 17 digit VIN number in order to get it registered with Vicroads. Just 1800 South African XY Fairmont GTs were built, and locally they were known as ‘Super-Rhino Fairmont GTs’.
This is a fantastic and ultra rare opportunity to own a South African GT.
