It’s running OEM airbox, carbs, needles and jets with timing and jetting set to deliver strong and reliable power with no risk of pre-detonation. Original oil pump set ever so slightly high to ensure maximum lubrication.

The crank was fully rebuilt with new bearings, seals and conrods. Rebore to +1 with new Vintco pistons. Clutch rebuilt with all new plates. All work carried out by qualified two stroke mechanics. All receipts for work and parts available.

Engine hydro blasted and all cases polished. Beautifully painted in “Cherry Red and Pearl’ with hand painted logos. Owner says, “The paint was the first job done done over 30 years ago and over the years I have thought of having it resprayed to the original colour scheme, (Candy Lime), but the paint was done by a craftsman and is so good I can’t bring myself to change it”. Inside tank was cleaned and sealed a couple of years ago.

Seat has original restored pan and trim with new foam and correct seat cover fitted by a motorcycle upholsterer.

Running on OEM points and with the original CDI units. All electrics working as they should on new OEM loom. Original speedo and tacho restored by Otto Instruments in QLD.

The magnificent triple exhaust is Kawasaki OEM and period correct. It is showing its age in a few spots but considering that they are now unobtainable it is a priceless feature of this beautiful motorcycle. Original rims are in great condition and fitted with modern Avon tyres.

Weepy OEM fuel tap has been replaced with non-original tap. Original fuel tap included for you to tinker with along with the obligatory box of old parts, useful bits and a couple of NOS parts that have yet to be fitted.
