This one comes with a great story, Lou Jackson born 1916 upon his return from serving in WW2 commenced a cadetship with Preston Motors Holden as a New car salesman and eventually worked his way to the top and became general manager during the 1960s. As he announced his retirement in 1976 and was ready to leave the dealership after 33 years, he was given this 1976 HJ Statesman Caprice as a gift and thanks for his loyal service. After Lou’s passing in 2006, the car was passed onto his son Barry who kept the vehicle tucked up in his garage only occasionally seeing the light of day. Upon Barry’s death in 2022 his sons became the custodians and caretakers for the Statesman. After 50 years, it is now time for this remarkable survivor to start a new chapter, it comes complete with its original owner’s manual and service book outlining that it is still a matching numbers vehicle along with a folder full of paperwork and receipts relating to the car. This is a terrific opportunity to secure a one family owner survivor example and would best be suited to a collector or enthusiast.
