One of only a handful of 280SLs to be delivered new in Australia, and only 1 owner from 1975 – 2026! This one is a time capsule, purchased new from Mackintosh Motors in Frankston on the 18/6/1975 and has remained under the same owners care up until now. This excellent and beautifully preserved example remains largely original, only having had a cellular car phone fitted in the 90s and a Bluetooth radio fitted more recently along with a set of 15’ 560SL wheels being fitted at some stage. Powered by the Mercedes M110 Twin Cam 2.8L it cost $25,970 when new while the average Melbourne House price was $19,800! The interior presents beautifully and truly shows the care and protection this car has received throughout its life. Supplied with the vehicle is the original owner’s manual, service book and original receipt from Mackintosh motors. An excellent example that is sure to impress.
