Rover PB6 (Buick V8), late series Australian delivered. This was a collaboration between two CEO’s one British from Rover one American from Buick, sitting side by side on a plane their idea was to lodge a Buick V8 3.5LT in the compact Rover body an idea that became reality. These Rovers were pocket rockets so much so the British used them as Police vehicles in England for some years.
This particular Rover is in outstanding exceptional condition never restored or messed with, with a genuine very low 50409 Kms on the clock. Later models like this one came with power steering and air conditioning. Arrow straight coach work with excellent bright work. No scratches no marks, no dents on the paint work… just lovely. Never restored totally original not a spot of rust.
Later models as is this Rover, were manufactured with cloth interior, more suitable for Australian climate. Interior is excellent condition, seats, dashboard and door cards all lovely with very little wear. Cruises superbly with plenty of V8 power, becoming very collectable and rare to find in this condition.
Probably one of the most original Rover P6B’s in Australia.
