The Holden HX Monaro GTS Sedan, introduced in July 1976, stands as a significant marker in Australian automotive history: it represents the final four-door model to officially wear the famous “Monaro” badge during the classic era. A rare classic Australian muscle car, with only 2,079 total HX GTS sedans produced.
This example started life with 253 & 4 speed manual now running a bigger 308 V8. It’s in great condition as you can tell from the photos and has clearly been well loved and maintained. A stand out car in desirable Royal plum and Chamois trim. Comes Holden vehicle production report and owner’s manual.
Work includes: 308 ported heads, roller rockers, big sump, upgraded parts, MSD, 750 double pumper. Current owner has had for the past 6 years only requiring some suspension work, tyres and minor maintenance during this period. Used sparingly for quarterly club events and some Sunday cruising.
