In 1980 Peter Brock bought the Holden Dealer Team (HDT), though without Holden … funding was needed to continue racing and development. This led to the creation of a modified VC Commodore, tuned and styled under the direction of Peter Brock who established HDT Special Vehicles, not only to produce enhanced versions of the Commodore but as a way of funding the race team.

Words from the owner –
The car underwent a full nut and bolt restoration 18 years ago, lots of NOS parts were used in the restoration including the NOS dash cluster hence the reading of 7189Klms on the clock from completion.
I have included the original cluster which reads 123179Klms from when I purchased the car.
