In 1980 Peter Brock bought the Holden Dealer Team (HDT), though without Holden … funding was needed to continue racing and development. This led to the creation of a modified VC Commodore, tuned and styled under the direction of Peter Brock who established HDT Special Vehicles, not only to produce enhanced versions of the Commodore but as a way of funding the race team.
Build 239 is a genuine HDT car, as per the attached HDT letter of authenticity. Very attractive example inside and out, in popular Firethorn red and Carmine interior, M21 Manual 4 Speed, L31 5Lt V8.
Appears to have had some undercarriage works / repairs (please see photos and videos). Inspection strongly recommended with hoist available.
