A true icon of the two-stroke era, the 1990 Suzuki RGV250 captures the raw, lightweight performance that defined early ’90s sports bikes. Powered by Suzuki’s 249cc 90-degree V-twin two-stroke, the RGV delivers razor-sharp throttle response, a hard-hitting powerband and one of the most agile chassis packages of its time.
The VJ22-generation RGV is renowned for its aluminium beam frame, banana swingarm, twin flatslide carbs and race-inspired ergonomics—technology lifted directly from Suzuki’s GP program. Today, surviving examples have become highly sought after, as many were used hard and few remain intact.
An excellent opportunity for collectors and enthusiasts wanting a pure two-stroke experience. With their rising international profile and limited supply in Australia, clean RGVs continue to appreciate steadily.
