The 1998 Suzuki TL1000R is a 996cc 90° V-twin superbike designed to challenge Ducati, producing approximately 135 bhp and 106 Nm of torque. Known for a punchy, reliable engine and a distinctive gear-driven cam whine, it features a rigid chassis, 6-pot brakes, and a heavy, stable feel compared to the lighter TL1000S. While offering strong top-end power, it is considered a heavy, niche “cult classic”. This example has been a long term owner and the vendor advises that it has been excellently maintained which is evident by its condition. The original exhaust is supplied with the motorcycle as is all the original plastic trims and back seat.
