Now Live: June Muscle, Classics & Motoring Auction – 3 Nights

Pre-bidding is now OPEN and the online catalogue is live for Burns & Co’s June Muscle, Classics & Motoring Auction, commencing Monday 22nd June and running across three auction nights through to Wednesday 24th June 2026.

The June catalogue delivers one of the strongest and most diverse offerings of Australian muscle, collector vehicles, motorcycles and motoring memorabilia seen this year, with buyers presented a rare opportunity to secure everything from blue-chip investment vehicles and concours-quality restorations through to affordable classics, survivor cars and unique collector pieces.

Leading the opening night is an exceptional line-up of Australian muscle headlined by a genuine matching-numbers 1969 Ford Falcon GT-HO Phase 1 finished in Candy Apple Red. Family-owned since 1983 and supported by extensive provenance including ICAARS and ACCHS documentation, the GT-HO is undoubtedly one of the standout collector vehicles of the year.

Joining the GT-HO is a remarkable 1972 Holden HQ GTS 308 Coupe. Finished in rare Lime Green Metallic and retained by a single owner from new, this matching-numbers example has remained tucked away for more than three decades and presents as an exceptional survivor vehicle complete with original books and documentation and unreserved from the outset.

Holden enthusiasts are particularly well catered for throughout the sale. Another major highlight is the extensively restored 1976 Holden LX SS Torana Hatchback owned by former apprentice Frank and featuring a 308 V8 personally built by legendary engine builder Ian Tate OAM. With strong motorsport links, outstanding provenance and an estimated 430 horsepower, the Torana represents one of the most talked-about vehicles in the auction. Learn more about it’s story here; https://burnsandcoauctions.com.au/a-torana-an-apprentice-and-a-lifetime-of-motoring-memories/

Additional Holden highlights include a beautifully preserved HQ LS Monaro Coupe, a highly desirable HSV VS Senator, VH SL/E 308 Sedan, VK Blue Meanie Tribute, FE Utility, HT Brougham and numerous other Holden classics spanning multiple generations.

Ford collectors are equally well represented, with the catalogue featuring a factory Tropic Gold 1975 Ford XB GT Falcon, an outstanding 1977 XC Falcon Coupe, a rare ED Falcon XR8 Sprint and an immaculate 1997 EL Falcon GT Build No. 133. Together these vehicles showcase the evolution of Australian Ford performance from the golden era of muscle cars through to the modern GT era.

Adding further depth to the Australian performance offering is a stunning 2017 HSV GTSR Maloo Walkinshaw W557 Manual. Build number 0069 and showing just 2,817 kilometres from new, the supercharged W557-equipped Maloo is widely regarded as one of the most desirable and collectible Australian performance vehicles ever produced.

Night Two introduces an outstanding selection of American, European and British classics, highlighted by both a 2010 Chevrolet C6 Corvette LS3 Manual and a 1971 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray. These are joined by a 1973 Ford Mustang Convertible, 1979 Pontiac Trans Am 427 Manual, Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz, Mercury Comet, Bentley S3 Sedan and a beautifully restored Ford Thunderbird Convertible.

Motorcycle enthusiasts are also presented with one of the strongest bike catalogues seen at Burns & Co in recent times. Highlights include a wartime 1944 Indian Chief Military Forces motorcycle, a 1942 Indian Scout with Sidecar, highly collectible Kawasaki Z1B 900, Honda CB750 Four K2, Suzuki Rotary RE5, Norton Atlas and Norton International.

Rounding out the sale is an eclectic mix of collector and specialty vehicles including a genuine Super 5000 Open Wheel Race Car, vintage commercial vehicles, collector pedal cars, a Dodgem Car and Trailer, automobilia and numerous unique motoring-related items.

Across all three nights, the June catalogue delivers exceptional depth and variety, providing opportunities for serious collectors, enthusiasts, investors, restorers and first-time buyers alike.

With pre-bidding now underway, we encourage buyers to explore the catalogue early, shortlist their favourites and register to bid ahead of the live auction nights.
