This 1924 Stanley Steamer Roadster Model 750 has been in the same family for over 60 years! It will be available for purchase from the Burns & Co December Muscle, Classic & Collectable Car & Motorcycle Auction.

This rare car was purchased by the vendors father in 1960 after seeing an ad in the Herald Sun newspaper, this is a vehicle in a fully operational state and in driving condition. It has been on Victorian club registration but as with all cars in our auctions it is being sold unregistered. No expense has been spared in the restoration of this vehicle resulting in what is arguably the best example in the country.

This roadster has the original chassis and running gear and the boiler has been replaced to keep it as a running example. It has a full aluminum body with a steel chassis and running boards, and it has a hardwood body frame.

This is an exquisite example and that would be suited to a museum or private collector. It’s an absolute credit to the vendor and family the stunning condition that this historic vehicle is in. There is a fully detailed manual that is supplied with the vehicle giving intricate details on things like plumbing and electrical diagrams. Inspection of this vehicle is a must and will not disappoint.
