The feature entry in the Burns & Co Classic & Collectable Car & Motorcycle Auction was without doubt the Portsea Blue EH Holden Premier Staton Wagon. This stunning vehicle was being offered at the February Burns & Co Classic & Collectable Car & Motorcycle Auction to finalise the Estate of the late John Geddes.

Well known through the EH Holden car enthusiast community, and regarded by many as simply the best, this EH has been a one family-owned car since new and came with the books… and of course it was topped off with the most popular of colours, the eye-catching Portsea Blue.

Competitive bidding from the outset saw the car jump out of the blocks early in the pre-bidding phase, and that didn’t stop on auction day as the price continued to climb with it being finalised on the day for an Australian record price of $134,078*.

This immaculate EH Holden Wagon will soon be the pride and joy in a motoring museum, it’s sure to create lots of interest and one we won’t forget anytime soon.
