This Auction will be held over THREE consecutive nights on 3rd, 4th and 5th of March with a mix of two timed online auctions and a traditional auction (held at our Bayswater, Victoria, Auction Facility).

Burns & Co are excited to have included into our March 2025 Classic & Collectable Car & Motorcycle Auction this stunning 1986 Holden VL Group A Commodore. Build number 008!!!

This sleek Group A is the cream of the crop, and is one of, if not the best VL Group A that we’ve had through the doors here at Burns & Co yet. It has all the pedigree that collectors are after including the original books, paperwork and a certificate of authenticity.

This car is a must for the Holden collector and inspection will not disappoint. Flawless inside and out, this Permanent Red, build number 8, Group A Commodore has just 109,267 kilometres on the clock and has original interior.

The feature entry in the Burns & Co Classic & Collectable Car & Motorcycle Auction was without doubt the Portsea Blue EH Holden Premier Staton Wagon. This stunning vehicle was being offered at the February Burns & Co Classic & Collectable Car & Motorcycle Auction to finalise the Estate of the late John Geddes.

Well known through the EH Holden car enthusiast community, and regarded by many as simply the best, this EH has been a one family-owned car since new and came with the books… and of course it was topped off with the most popular of colours, the eye-catching Portsea Blue.

Competitive bidding from the outset saw the car jump out of the blocks early in the pre-bidding phase, and that didn’t stop on auction day as the price continued to climb with it being finalised on the day for an Australian record price of $134,078*.

This immaculate EH Holden Wagon will soon be the pride and joy in a motoring museum, it’s sure to create lots of interest and one we won’t forget anytime soon.

The February Burns & Co Classic & Collectable Car & Motorcycle Auction will conclude with a live auction this Sunday the 16th of February 2025 with the first lot going under the hammer from 10am AEDT. Bidders can bid online, via phone, absentee bidding forms or you can attend and bid in person at 4 Market Drive, Bayswater Vic, 3153.
