A next level auction for the next level collectors out there, featuring Part 1, Part 2 and Part 3 of the much-anticipated “Walter Jobson Collection”!
94-year-old Walter started collecting more than 60 years ago, and it’s been a passion shared with his late wife ever since. During this time, the Jobsons amassed a significant collection of petrol and oil memorabilia, automotive collectables, tin toys, lamps, telephones and much more.
There are many highlights throughout the collection, including the standout embossed enamel WARATAH and ALBA signs, a fantastic selection of Golden Fleece memorabilia, an impressive run of petrol pump globes and canteens including the NOS Golden Plume still in its original cardboard box, outstanding embossed oil bottles and tops, early vintage tin toys and go-withs, wall-mounted and desktop telephones, and an exceptional selection of original enamel petrol and oil advertising signs. Part 3 also brings a great line-up of early visible petrol pumps from Golden Fleece, Neptune, BP/COR, Shell and more.
Part 1, Part 2 and Part 3 of the collection is now for genuine sale, being offered on an unreserved basis.
Also on offer are other top quality enamel signs including one of Australia’s most iconic and desirable signs being an Embossed Enamel THE SUN sign, in addition to a great selection of Pub & Milk Bar mirrors!
